Terms of Service

1. Purpose of Service
CoachBetter provides an educational platform that helps users practice and reflect on coaching conversations using AI-assisted insights. The Service is intended for learning and professional development only and is not a substitute for mentor coaching, credential assessment, supervision, therapy, or employment decisions.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website, applications, and related offerings (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and comply with applicable laws.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. AI Feedback Limitation
AI-generated outputs are intended to support reflection and professional growth. They do not constitute certification, supervision, performance evaluation, or legal/clinical advice.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of recordings, transcripts, and other materials you submit ("User Content"). You grant CoachBetter a limited license to process User Content solely to provide and improve the Service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All Service content and software are © CoachBetter or its licensors. Third‑party marks, including ICF® and International Coaching Federation®, remain the property of their owners and are used only for descriptive reference.
8. No Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as‑is" and "as‑available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoachBetter shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you to CoachBetter in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breach of these Terms or to protect users or the Service. You may cancel your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts in Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
